The sixth annual Blues, Beer, And BBQ Summer Concert Series Returns to the Town of Cumberland summer of 2022.

Cumberland’s Blues, Beer, and BBQ (BBB) started as an idea to combine a summer concert with the creation of a pop-up event space to bring out town citizens and promote a sense of place. The first BBB was held on June 3, 2017, at the newly created Saturn Space and was a huge hit! . The success of past BBBs was far beyond what we could have imagined.

The amount of positive feedback was astounding, and Cumberland has quickly become a local blues destination in central Indiana. We now receive regular requests from Blues bands asking to book our next event. We’ve had Grammy winners and most of our Blues artists have been endorsed by the Slippery Noodle, Indy’s oldest and most popular Blues destination.

The Cumberland BBBs are unique in that they are family events. Most Blues venues only accommodate the over 21 crowd. But with our public space, free admission, and adjoining park, the Cumberland BBBs are enjoyable for all ages and are unique in helping to create Blues fans for the future. Our BBBs are attended by lifelong Blues fans as well as those who have never attended a single Blues concert.

There is truly not another destination in our area solely dedicated to the Blues the way Saturn Space is.
