Shelter from the Storm, Inc. has postponed our Inaugural Fundraiser the “Cowboy Ball” to October 7th 5-8p. We have reopened ticket sales until September 29th. Food, live music/DJ, dancing, petting zoo, silent auction, and games. We might even have a "best costume" prize. This is a family friendly event, so bring your little ones and let them take a ride on the mini horse (50# limit) Have no fear, for the young at heart there will be a horse you can ride (200# limit) Buy a ticket, have fun and support a great cause.

According to Partnership Against Domestic Violence, every 9 seconds in the U.S. another woman is beaten. Domestic violence is a significant problem that affects millions of women and children every year. The consequences of domestic violence can be devastating, both for the individual and for society as a whole. Victims of domestic violence often suffer from physical and emotional trauma, financial instability, and social isolation.

With adequate funding Shelter from the Storm, Inc. will be able to provide safe and secure housing for women and their dependent children who have suffered from physical, spiritual, emotional, and/or sexual abuse.
