Mission Statement:

Our mission is to promote and support quality public education in Brandywine and Sugar Creek Townships.

About Us:

The New Palestine Education Foundation was established in 2010 as the Southern Hancock Education Foundation. A small group of community members partnered with several educators to found this foundation to support the schools in the Community School Corporation of Southern Hancock County.

The mission statement of the Foundation: Our mission is to promote and support quality public education in Brandywine and Sugar Creek Townships. The Foundation’s name was updated to its current name in 2021 to better reflect its work in the New Palestine school community.

Why Volunteer:

We are in need of volunteers to assist the organizations hold its annual gala which to date is its largest fundraiser. We also attend several community events throughout the year and plan to hold more fundraisers. Giving back to the community by way of the education foundation is extremely rewarding.

Volunteer Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age and over. Live in or around New Palestine. Able to stand for at least an hour at a time, lift tables, chairs, tent. Have fun!
